International Scientific Conference „Conservation-Restoration Research of Works of Art made of Textiles“
The International Scientific Conference „Conservation-Restoration Research of Works of Art made of Textiles“ will be held in the Museum Mimara in Zagreb, Croatia from 26 to 29 April 2010. The Conference is organized by the Croatian Conservation Institute (Hrvatski restauratorski zavod) with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia.

Croatian Conservation Institute with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia invites you to the conference „The most important procedures in preservation and state enhancement of historical textiles” which will be held in the Museum Mimara in Zagreb, Croatia from 24 to 26 November 2008.


	PierPaolo Monfardini's workshop "Panel paintings: conservation and restoration of wooden support" The Croatian Conservation Institute with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia organizes workshop „Panel paintings: Conservation and restoration of wooden support“ to be held from 10 to 14 November 2008 in the Ludbreg Restoration Centre.


	Course: Cleaning of polychrome surfaces by using methods alternative to toxic solvents Course on cleaning of polychrome surfaces by using methods alternative to toxic solvents was held in the Conservation Department of the Croatian Conservation Institute in Dubrovnik from 20 to 24 October.

	Case Study of the Peristyle of the Diocletian's Palace within the international project of the European Union Trainmonher In the organization of the Croatian Conservation Institute from September 29 to October 3 2008 the course on the Peristyle of the Diocletian's Palace within the international project of the European Union Trainmonher was held in Split.

Historic Types of Marbling and Possibilities of Their Conservation
The Croatian Conservation Institute in the cooperation with colleagues from Germany (Technische Universität München, Fachhochschule Potsdam) organise the seminar with workshop on „Historic Types of Marbling and Possibilities of Their Conservation“, to be held in the Croatian Conservation Institute - Conservation Centre Ludbreg (Hrvatski restauratorski zavod - Restauratorski centar Ludbreg), Croatia, from 11th to 16th June 2007.

The Croatian Apoxyomenos
The conservation-restoration project „The Croatian Apoxyomenos“, nominated for the prestigious European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, was awarded with a medal in the category „Conservation of Works of Art“.
The Awards will be presented to the representatives of the awarded achievements at the annual European Heritage Awards Ceremony, which will take place on 8 June 2007 in the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden.


	Altar of the Mother of God in Plesivica The exhibition was staged from 20 April to 20 May 2007 in the Jastrebarsko Town Museum and Gallery on the occasion of the completion of the conservation-restoration work performed on the altar of the Mother of God of Loreto in the Parish Church of St George in Plesivica.
