Sponsored by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and organized by the Mimara Museum and the Croatian Conservation Institute, in collaboration the Dubrovnik Museums and the Yanus Emre Institute, the exhibition Iznik – Ottoman Pottery from the Depths of the Adriatic was on view at the Mimara Museum in Zagreb in 2015, and at in 2016.

The exhibition presents the Italian artists creating in the period between the Council of Trent and the Napoleonic era, i.e. from the late 16th century until 1800. We all know the extent of the influence that the Council of Trent exerted on the position of visual arts and their role in the framework of the Catholic Church. On the other hand, the Napoleonic wars altered the political map of Europe, especially in Italy and Croatia.

The Croatian Conservation Institute, Croatian State Archives and Brethren of the Croatian Dragon organized the professional and scientific conference and the exhibition named A century after Laszowski [Stoljeće nakon Laszowskog] in the Croatian State Archives in November 2014. Later, the exhibition was shown in Ozalj and Dubovac.
Dubrovnik, Knežev dvor, 23 April – 13 May 2014
The Croatian Conservation Institute announces the presentation of the project "The Four Evangelists in the Oeuvre of Mattia Preti" which encompasses the exhibition on the research and works performed on the two series of paintings representing the four Evangelists from the Dubrovnik churches Our Lady of Carmel (Gospa od Karmela) and Saint Blaise (Sveti Vlaho), attributed to the renowned Italian baroque artist and Knight of the Maltese Order, Mattia Preti, as well as short lectures on the project course and its results. The exhibition is held in Knežev dvor in Dubrovnik, and the opening is on Wednesday, 23 April 2014 at 19.00 hours.
