International seminar and workshop, Ludbreg, Croatian Conservation Institute / Ludbreg Conservation Centre, 3rd-6th June 2001
This four-day professional conference, held in the Ludbreg Conservation Centre, brought together some 140 participants for the lectures of the first day. Some 30 participants took part in the workshop, mostly conservation and conservation-restoration experts from the Croatian Conservation Institute and their associates.
Lectures featured a historical overview of the interior design stucco technique, a discussion of the development of restoration techniques and problems encountered during restoration work. Participants practised and demonstrated the making of stucco marble.
