International workshop, Sep 19th–29th, 2016, Lovran
Croatian Conservation Institute, in collaboration with the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples and the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, organized an international workshop on integration in the restoration of wall paintings, titled: Integration of lacunae and basic concepts for aesthetical presentation.
The workshop was held in the church of St. George’s in Lovran, attended by students and teachers from Croatia and Italy, as well as restorers from the Croatian Conservation Institute. It was led by Monica Martelli Castaldi, professor at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples, Kristina Krulić, head of the Department for Wall Paintings and Mosaics of the Croatian Conservation Institute and Neva Pološki, assoc. professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb.
As part of the workshop, public lectures were given – by Prof. Monica Martelli Castaldi, Kristina Krulić and Željko Bistrović.
