Varaždin: Varaždin City Museum – Ludbreg: Ludbreg Department for Conservation, Croatian Conservation Institute, 10th – 11th May 2018
On Thursday, 10th May 2018 at 14.00 hours, the international project Tracing the Art of the Straub Family will be presented to the public in the Varaždin City Museum (the Herzer Palace). The presentation is part of a series of activities aimed to introduce various research and cultural heritage protection projects to the public during the European Year of Cultural Heritage. This event is organized by the Croatian Conservation Institute in collaboration with the Creative Europe Desk – Culture Subprogram of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. Local and international partners will present the project.
The following day, 11th May, the International Student Workshop “Through Interdisciplinary Cooperation towards an Art Database” will be held in the Battyány Castle at the Ludbreg Department for Conservation of the Croatian Conservation Institute. The workshop is intended for art history and conservation students. It will be mentored by conservator-restorers and art historians from Croatia and abroad, and the head of the Natural Science Laboratory of the Croatian Conservation Institute.
